Today in School, we had our annual restart a heart day.
It is vital that children have life-saving skills from an early age.
The children were taught skills that means they could help in an emergency situation - ranging from knowing your own personal details to knowing how to put someone in to the recovery position.
The Senior Classroom even discussed different scenarios that could happen and what would be the best treatment for that person - was it to ring the GP, go to A&E, ring 999 or commence CPR...
It was a brilliant opportunity for last years HEARTSTART pupils to refresh their life saving skills.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
