This morning we welcomed back past Principal, Mrs. McKeown.
Mrs. McKeown very kindly came to Carnalbanagh Primary School to tell us all a little bit about the History of the School and the local area.
We were shown some old photographs and even recognised a few Parents and Grandparents of our current pupils!
When asked, Mrs. McKeown told us that she first knew she wanted to be a teacher when she was a young girl at school, and her teacher used a pink pencil to mark her work! It was at this moment she thought she would like to be able to tick books with a pink pencil!
A big THANK YOU for coming today and telling us such interesting stories and facts about our School.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
