On Tuesday 18th June 2019, the P4-P7 classroom welcomed a new member to their class.
For the last couple of weeks the senior classroom have been tending to their duck and hen eggs, that have been in an incubator at the back of the classroom.
On Tuesday morning one of the eggs started to crack, and it soon became apparent that a baby chick was soon to be hatched.
Then the moment came... at approximately 12.55pm... OUR CHICK WAS BORN!
"Suzie" is settling in well, and we are keeping our fingers and toes crossed that "she" will have a little friend soon!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
